George Richardson of the Rex Hotel of Federal Dam, and candidate for the nomination for legislator from Cass County was in Walker in the interests of his candidacy. Mr. Richardson was a candidate two years ago and lacked just one hundred and fifty votes from getting on the ticket. This was an excellent run, for Federal Dam, his home town, doesn’t carry much weight when it comes to voting. (May 17, 1928)
